Post #2: Meeting in Vancouver

Note: Wifi, etc. was spotty on the ship, and we were busy, so we didn’t get to blogging at all. The cruise experience will probably be broken up into several separate posts.

Just to introduce us all: Our 14 were:

* Nina and Dan

* Oldest son Joe (aka Yossi), his wife Tamar, and their three children – Shoshana (16), Ari (13), and Amir (9)

* Daughter Becky, her husband Charley, and their daughters Merrill (12) and Riley (10)

* Younger son Ben, his wife Judith (aka Jude), and their daughter Phoebe (8)

10 of us are Fendels; Becky and family are Covers.

We rendezvous’ed in Vancouver Saturday evening, 8/3, had dinner, walked around a bit, had gelato, and found someone to take a group photo:

From left to right:

We then called it a night, to get ready for boarding the next morning.

Post #1: Starting in Vancouver

On August 3, 2019, our family — Dan, Nina, and our children and grandchildren — will gather in Vancouver, Canada, to prepare for a week-long cruise from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska. The boat leaves on Sunday, August 4, and reaches Seward on August 11. From there, we go in different directions, with some returning home, some to travel to the east coast, and some continuing for more Alaska adventures. Nina and Dan will be in Alaska for an additional two weeks.
